Whats the difference between a fake fragrance and the real thing?
I think im going to buy Aquolina’s Pink sugar fragrance, and i think at Kohls they have it cheap(i think), but at Sephora its expensive.
At Kohls it might be fake. Is there a big difference in the fake and real thing?
do you know how i can tell if its real or fake?

The only difference is that it’s not the REAL thing and it might smell a little off…but they try and make it as close as possible.
The fake ones are almost always just as good as the real deal though, i never waste my money on 60 dollar bottles of perfume.

IT’S A KNOC OFF AND IT MIGHT SMELL THE SMAE BUT IT’S NOT GOING TO LAST AT ALL THE SCENT WILL GO AWAY IN A MATTER IOF MINTUES

Fake perfume usually contains a high water content and therefore it won’t smell as good or last at long. Real perfume is more oil so it lasts longer, smells better, and you get your moneys worth out of it in my opinion.

i have a distinct sense of smell and to me there is a difference between the generic and real thing…the fake tends to a certain extra smell on top of the real smell, i don’t care for it but generally its all the same

In real fragrances the molecules that make up the liquid are very long and complex, making the fragrance last longer. In cheap perfumes, the molecules are short, so the smell is short lived. I would try an oil based product. Forget those brand names that EVERYONE has, check out this site: http://www.kuumbamade.com If you click on fragrances they have a list of all their scents. I have about 6 of them, and they smell AMAZING, and the scent lasts a long time, and some of the scents come in BEAUTIFUL beaded bottles that you could never get from kohls. Check it out, i think you will find it interesting.
